82 New Proposals For Greece

Tomorrow, Monday, the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) will present a package of 82 policy proposals for the country to return to growth and will present them at Monday’s general meeting, attended by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis, while insisting that the country’s place in the eurozone is non-negotiable. So the Ekathimerini reports.

The document is called "Together for Growth". That should be an interesting document to read because businessmen normally make proposals which work in the real economy even though they may not get the applause of leftist academics. Tomorrow, we should know whether the SEV is worth its salt.

  1. This is in fact old news, not news at all, whatever they want to propose, because all was already on its way to be realized by the Task Force for Greece, a wonderful title for a brilliant organisation to make all true what Syriza never could (wanted to) dream of. Their lust, and joy, is to object, to contradict, reject, to resist, constantly, whatever it is, to condemn, whatever it is, to curse, whoever it might be.

Proposal 83: take the Task Force for Greece back, to realize all 82 proposals. Without a Task Force or with other words: a specialized highly professional technical team from EU, nothing will ever be realized. Nothing. Never. The vicious circle of up, and down to the abyss must be stopped.

O yes, proposal 84: the resignation of the entire government, to be replaced by a team of Greek and EU technicians within the mentioned Task force for Greece, for as long it is needed, under the supervision of EU, because it is clear: Greece has proved not to be capable to govern its country, worse: it is sliding down already for hundreds of years, and lives for centuries on borrowed money.
Time to handle over the steering wheel.

    1. With such condemnable #84 you have fully demonstrated that you do not have the slightest idea of the average greek soul.

  2. SEV is the Association of greek Industrialists really (the translation of Kathimerini is wrong) and their proposals have been the same, based on McKinsey's report, which SYRIZA has officially condemned many times as a plan drawn "by the industrialists". The only hope now is that minister Varoufakis, not being SYRIZA (he isn't a SYRIZA member officially) will adopt it under another disguise that SEV must provide him with.
